France Representative / Project Manager — Hardwood Log Sourcing

DIVERUS UAB is an international timber trading company launching sourcing operations in France. Therefore we are looking for our first local representative — a key hire who will lay the foundation of our French operations and grow with the business.

What responsibilities and tasks will we entrust?

Represent DIVERUS UAB with French suppliers — private forest owners, cooperatives, ONF, timber operators;
Purchase roadside hardwood logs (oak, beech, ash) across Grand Est, Bourgogne, Champagne-Ardenne, Normandie and Île-de-France;
Negotiate purchase prices, assess log quality on site, coordinate transport logistics for export;
As the operation scales, progressively build and lead a local team.

We hope the new team member will have:

Minimum 5 years of experience purchasing hardwood roundwood in France;
Established supplier relationships in at least 2-3 of the target regions;
Familiarity with ONF tender processes is a strong advantage;
Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently and represent an international company with full autonomy;
English proficiency is mandatory, because all communication with headquarters is in English;
Ambition to grow into a leadership role as the French team is built out.
