Specifications

DIVERUS selects hardwood and softwood logs internationally to meet all market needs.

We supply the following types of wood:

SPRUCE (Latin Picea Abies) logs.

PINE (Latin Pinus Sylvestris) logs.

BIRCH (Latin Betula Pendula) logs.

Logs are usually measured according to the following standards:

Japanese agriculture standard (JAS).

Huber’s equation.

LST standard – LST EN 1309-2:2006.

Steps in the European ordering process

1. Request

The ordering process starts after receiving your request.

2. Terms of the contract

Once you have provided us with your product specifications and other requirements, we negotiate the terms of the contract. At the same time, we check the feasibility of your requirements with the supply team. Finally, we draw up the contract which specifies the product, the level of its quality, quantity, price, and delivery terms.

3. Signing the contract

When the contract terms are agreed upon, we send/present it to you for your signature.

4. Planning

Taking into account the terms of the contract, we start the planning:

a) if your needs meet the standard specification, the delivery of the order is arranged immediately after signing the contract;

b) if your needs are specific, production in the forest starts immediately after signing the contract and then the delivery of the order is arranged.

5. Transportation

Two methods of transportation are available:

a) at your request, you can collect the order with your own transport;

b) our logistics team takes care of the delivery of the order, scheduling the delivery by trucks, trains, barges, or timber lorries in accordance with the terms agreed in the contract.

6. Submission of documents

Our team prepares a package of documents with the invoice, bill of lading and necessary certificates, and sends it to you.
